Ready to launch your Bridge Aspire journey? Start by filling out our secure online DS-2019 application—your official Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor Status and a key requirement for your U.S. visa interview.
Before starting your application, please have these details prepared:
Start date of your internship or training
End date of your internship or training
Host organization’s street address
Host organization’s website
Host contact person (hiring manager or direct supervisor)
Host contact phone number
Host contact email address
After submitting your application, you will be charged a non-refundable application fee, payable by credit card through our secure online form. This fee is deducted from your total program fees, keeping things clear and seamless.
If you have family dependents applying for a J-2 Visa, you’ll have the opportunity to enter their information in the same application, making the process simple for everyone.
Once your application is accepted, we’ll guide you to gather and upload these important documents:
Host Organization Agreement (Bridge Aspire will send this directly for completion)
Internship Placement Plan (if you’re an intern)—or Training Placement Plan (if you’re a trainee)
Proof of English proficiency (take our free online test, or share official scores like IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC)
University/college diploma or enrollment letter (if required)
Your most up-to-date resume/CV
Passport biographical page
After your documents and placement are confirmed, you’ll receive a simple online invoice for final program fees. Full details and payment options are always clear, upfront, and secure.
Bridge Aspire will email your host organization to confirm your internship or training details. Please let your host know we’ll be reaching out—they’ll need to respond to this official confirmation and take a brief validation call.
We’ll invite you to a live virtual orientation to prepare you for life in the U.S., review the J-1 Program rules, and share visa interview tips and travel resources.
After your payment, paperwork, and placement are set, Bridge Aspire will issue your DS-2019 form—usually within two weeks. Download it right from your Bridge Aspire account.
Schedule your J-1 visa interview with your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate, bringing your DS-2019 and supporting documents. We’re here to help you prepare so you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
Once approved, your J-1 Visa will be placed in your passport—sometimes on the same day, sometimes mailed to you. If denied, you may appeal, but processes vary by country. For specific details, check your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate’s website.
